Letter from the President...

Let me just say thank you to everyone that came to our race at Atco.
It's a shame we couldn't get Saturday's race in to no fault of anyone
but the weather.  Joe Sway and the Atco crew did a valiant effort
trying to get the track to come around.  But the water coming up just
made it unsafe to race the quarter mile.

Sunday's race turned out to be "much gooder."  With all the prep and
the work they did on Saturday, the entire track was excellent,
allowing us to complete our second race of the season.  With 33 cars
in attendance, our largest field ever, we guaranteed full pay out.  I
want to congratulate Earl Nichols on his win and Lance Kreiger on
his runner up.

The caliber of our drivers and closeness of races is at a national
event level.  Races won and lost by thousandths. 9.902 to 9.899 is
unprecident.  The bar is set high at our meets for everyone.  There
are no ducks!  Quack Quack

Let me again thank everyone and address that we have lost two races
so far and we are down to 8.  At this time, if we get all eight races in,
we will not make up any races.  If we lose another, we will make
two
up at a later date.  Two races to make the tow worth while.

That's it for now.  Good luck to everyone that is going to Atco's
Divisional Race.

I'll see you there.

Lucky
